Support Us! Annual Foot by Foot Auction & Fundraiser
ZAAP’s primary fundraiser is the annual Foot by Foot event. Members, local artists, and anyone over 18 that is interested can donate a 12-inch by 12-inch artwork to the cause. Foot by foot artwork will be hung in the gallery from June 6th through June 28th during and offered for sale in silent auction format.
A closing celebration event will be held on June 28th from 5 to 8pm with bids closing at 7:30pm. Food and refreshments will be provided and we’ll have some giveaways and contests too!
Interested artists can pick up a complementary 12-inch canvas! Just stop by the gallery during normal business hours. The deadline to turn in artwork donations is Sunday, June 1st. Artists can choose to split any sale proceeds or donate the full amount to ZAAP.
This fundraiser helps us pay overhead costs for the gallery, purchase basic supplies, market our cause, and support our mission. We owe a debt of gratitude to all that have helped us by donating art, time, supplies, and their hard-earned money. Thank you!

Our History
ZAAP was organized in 1994 in response to a revitalization effort in Zanesville. Former Mayor Marilyn Swope’s attendance at the Mayor’s Institute on City Design: Midwest in St. Louis in 1993 initiated interest in investigating ways in which artistic projects might stimulate the area. In 1994 the decision was made to incorporate as an organization designed for the support of regional arts and involvement of the community.
